In this guide we consider oVirt as the most interesting ( and most suitable for us ) engine. It is a free alternative of RHEV-based solution, supported by RedHat. More details and official documentation can be found on their official website.
In our case the installation is pretty straightforward: we will install oVirt Engine with local PostgreSQL db engine and WebUI on one of the physical nodes. Let's see how it looks like in Ansible ( tasks from the corresponding role ):
- Downloading oVirt repo and install oVirt engine packages:
- Configure oVirt Engine - put into .ini file your credentials :)
- Run installation on the engine node.
